Admission at the gates is $5, and children aged 12 and under can enter for free. If you plan to attend the festival for the entire weekend, there's a convenient $10 weekend pass available for purchase at the gate. Good news! Parking is free, so you won't have to worry about any additional fees for parking your vehicle.
Please note that no pets, only official service animals, are allowed in the show area. However, you can bring your pets to the campgrounds as long as they are securely leashed or confined.
During the festival, you can enjoy various special event games, a kid train, and music concerts, all of which are free of charge. However, please refrain from bringing bikes, skates, rollerblades, skateboards, or 4-wheeled vehicles onto the show grounds. Additionally, if you plan to bring a golf cart or UTV, please ensure it is registered at the APC office and has valid proof of insurance.
The Clinton County Corn Festival is a beloved tradition for many locals in Clinton County. Unlike your typical fair, we offer a unique experience. You won't find traditional carnival rides or games here. Instead, we have an array of one-of-a-kind games suitable for all ages in the special events area. From skillet and rolling pin tosses to cross-cut saw competitions, there's something for everyone. We even have a petting zoo and a dedicated children's corner for the little ones to enjoy.
Once you've had your fill of excitement, you can indulge in a variety of delicious offerings from over 20+ local non-profit food vendors. They offer homemade delicacies ranging from chicken and noodles to corn on the cob, pork and steak sandwiches, ice cream, and many other favorites. With so many options, it's impossible to try them all, but we encourage you to give it your best shot!
We have a live sound stage featuring different acts almost continuously. If live music isn't your cup of tea, head over to the grandstands to watch tractor and horse pulls. Need a break from the heat? Step inside the air-conditioned Expo Center or Quilt Barn, where you'll find a variety of activities happening throughout the day. Consult the schedule for upcoming events.
Once you feel refreshed, explore the craft, antique, swap meet, and flea market barns. You're sure to discover something you simply must have. Alternatively, venture outside the grounds to witness our downtown parade on Saturday morning, starting at 10:00 am. The parade winds its way through downtown Wilmington. Don't forget about the Tractors, Engines, and Car shows! We host a Cruise-in on Friday nights and a Car Show on Sunday. Our Antique Power Club members proudly display their engines and tractors all weekend on the grounds. You'll also find a working sawmill, a 200hp Fairbanks engine, baling demonstrations, and much more. Hop on our shuttle wagon to explore the grounds and see all the fascinating exhibits up close!
Saturday nights are reserved for the thrilling Corn Olympics at the grand stands. If you've never witnessed the Corn Olympics before, you're in for a treat! It's the only place in Clinton County, and possibly Ohio, where you can witness an Outhouse Race. Don't forget to keep your eyes peeled to the north side of the infield at dusk, as Wayne and his team will ignite the steamers for a Spark Show! You'll be amazed as sparks shoot out of the Steam Engine and soar into the sky. Wayne has a special secret that makes the sparks reach heights of 30, 40, or even 50 feet! It's been said that you might even catch a glimpse of them from I-71!
Everything you've read about here is just the beginning of the fun you can have at the Clinton County Corn Festival! We're open from 11 am on Friday until 5 pm on Sunday, with most activities wrapping up by 10 pm each night. Grab a show flyer at the gates or visit our office during the festival to stay updated on the latest events. One thing is certain: you'll never be bored at the Clinton County Corn Festival! Make sure to follow us on Facebook for live updates throughout the weekend!
